Offenders must register within 3 days of arriving in the state.

Arizona

California

How long can a sex offender visit California? Sex offenders “residing” in one location for 5 or more days must inform local law enforcement who will decide if registration is necessary. Contact local authorities within 5 days of your arrival.

Connecticut

Maine

All S.O must notify local law enforcement within 24 hours of arrival.

S.O sentenced before 2013 must also verbally notify the registry within 5 days. Offenders sentenced after 2013 must also verbally notify the registry within 3 days.

Visits longer than 14 days or more than 30 days in a calendar year, require full registration.
