NH State Prison COVID UPDATE

As of December 28th out of the 835 DOC staff members, 117 have had COVID since March. Forty of those are still active. Of the 2,130 inmate population there have been some 332 COVID positive cases since March. Of those 116 still active. Only 1,065 inmates have been tested and of those 332 were positive. That is a 31% positivity rate. The DOC reports that inmates are only tested if the show symptoms or have had close proximity to someone who did test positive.
